About Company
The company operates two manufacturing plants in Pune, Maharashtra. The driveline plant spans 84,000 square meters and handles casting, machining, assembly, prototyping, testing, and painting. The gear plant, covering 78,000 square meters, includes machining and heat treatment processes like carburizing, induction hardening, and nitriding.
Carraro India's products include axles and transmission systems for agricultural tractors, gears and transmission systems for construction vehicles like backhoe loaders, compact wheel loaders, telehandlers, and cranes, as well as gears, shafts, and ring gears for industrial and automotive vehicles.
The company has extensive experience in the agricultural tractor and construction vehicle sectors, supported by a supply network of 220 local suppliers across eight Indian states and 58 international suppliers. As of September 30, 2024, the company employed 87 full-time quality and after-sales staff and 53 temporary contract workers.
Its strengths include being a key Tier 1 supplier of transmission systems and axles for agricultural and construction vehicles in India. The company offers customized solutions for its OEM customers, maintains strong relationships with leading suppliers, has advanced in-house R&D capabilities, and operates technologically advanced manufacturing plants with significant production capacity and in-house gear-making expertise.
